4 Stars Best thing I’ve bought for $10 in a long time
It does what I was hoping it would do. Range is about 15-18 feet. What more do you want for ten bucks?

2 Stars Good if used on very short distance.
I used it while I was camping. I didn’t have any problem to set it up but i was surprised about how short the distance between the remote and the camera must be to be able to control the shot. And you must be just in front so It took me some acrobatics movement to be able to take some shoots during our fire-camp. Other than that it’s a great little remote, very light but just not what i need.

This wireless remote works great. Some people complain about the distance, but the technical details clearly states up to 16ft working distance, which is plenty for my needs. I love this wireless remote and the fact that I am finally in some of my own pictures. I look forward to doing self-portraits. Definitely worth getting.

5 Stars Not as small as the Canon branded remote, but works just as well for less $
The remote works just fine, range as expected. Only downside to choosing this remote over the canon branded one is that the canon one is a lot smaller and will attach to your neck strap. I gave it 5 stars because it is 1/3-1/2 the price of the canon remote.

this product is pretty easy to use. took me some time to understand the instructions on what “command dial” was. LOL but otherwise, this is a good product.

5 Stars Works as well as the Olympus Remote
What a genius bit of OEM product at a great price. Don’t spend money on the Oly RM-1, this is less than half the price and does the job as well as the Oly unit.

5 Stars perfect gadget for steady shots
This serves it purpose pretty good. But I am not sure if the +/- button and the other two button work. They sure dont on my E500. But the shutter works so I am good.

5 Stars Great little remote for my Olympus E-500
I read all the Amazon product reviews prior to buying this item, so I knew about the poor (almost incomprehensible) setup instructions. I was able to use my camera’s operators manual to figure it all out. Once I understood the remote setup, everything has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this unit to people who respect their equipment. The unit is not built ruggedly, so care is important. That said, it should provide you with years of use. Go Amazon!
