User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars As announced
It will let me shoot hundreds, if not thousands of photos before recharge time. I’m not a heavy shooter, but I carry two of these and swap them just so they’ll last longer.

Stick with original.

5 Stars Digital camera battery
What can I say its a battery whose main job is to store power to run my device. I charged it up and it held the charge so it seems to work great.

Thank you

3 Stars MRS
Ok I couldn’t find a way to contact you so…

I think giving a shipping range of July 6 to July 21 is lame. It was be nice if you could get it to me before July 7 cuz thats when I need it. If not I’ll cancel my order.

Thanks

Mary

5 Stars Works as expected.
I bought this as a spare battery for my Nikon D60, as it is always recommended to have a spare. The battery worked well as expected. If yo are an amateur, or a serious photographer, a spare or two is always a must. I would recommend this product.

5 Stars Great battery!
Great battery…charges quickly and lasts for an extremely long time even when used for lengthy playback and editing. Also works for the D60 which is the camera I own.

Nikon CF D80 Semi Soft Case for Nikon D80 Digital SLR Cameras

This semi-soft case stores and protects your D80 Digital SLR camera. Protect your Nikon D80 with this close-fitting case. Its rugged polyester/vinyl exterior keeps out the elements, while its soft interior cradles your camera and an attached lens.

5 Stars Wonderful Case
wonderful product! Took this on my European vacation and it was nice to be able to keep the camera around my neck and still have it protected. Also, I could easily put the camera into my bag without it getting scratched by the things inside the bag.

4 Stars Exactly what was needed
This case was the perfect one for my D90. Enough padding to keep it safe when tossed around, but not enough try dropping. Nothing fancy about it, just something to keep it safe when stored or taking on a trip.

5 Stars Perfet for my Nikon D60
Perfect for my Nikon D60, nice soft case keeps the camera safe when you are not using it…

5 Stars This is a great case for D90
This is a great case for D90. I am using this with D90 coupled with the 18-105mm kit lens. The camera fits in this perfectly without any issues. This case provides basic protection from dust and scratches and in no way can it protect the camera if its dropped.

The leather is soft and feels nice. The cap of the case holds by a velcro but you can fasten the camera by a button which holds the camera strap to the case.

Again…it provides basic support to the camera but not for rugged use. Should use this coupled with a backpack for that kind of protection.

Would definitely recommend it.

2 Stars Design OK, happier with previous Nikon SLR cases
I have had previous Nikon cases with screw-on form fitting specifically for the model, but this one is a disappointment compared to past Nikon cases. As mentioned by other reviewers, it is not that form fitting for my Nikon D80. The case has a small, thin strap which snaps to the camera. This small strap is very weak and if you take the case off and let it hang on the camera, it snaps off easily. My other Nikon cases would easily slide off and on with a secure mechanism (screw bottom), with no fear of losing or falling off by a simple snap. I was on vacation and it fell off when I did not immediately put the camera back in the case and did not know this until a stranger had picked it up for me. For this reason I am only giving it 2 stars. If there were a more secure strap to hold the case onto the camera strap, I would give it a higher rating. Please be aware of this feature when you are considering this case.

The Opteka finder features include a built in diopter with 1X and 2X capability, full 360 degree rotation, and universal mounting attachments for most Digital SLR cameras including Canon EOS, Nikon, Olympus EVOLT, Pentax, Sony Alpha, & many more. Padded leather-like pouch for easy handling included.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Good quality and good price
I bought this for my Nikon D60. It is not the kind of thing I use a great deal, but it is very helpful for low angles. I bought it primarily for macro photography, although the 2X magnification is very nice when the camera is on a tripod. The finder is well made and it fits perfectly. I noticed comments on loose fitting with Canon cameras, but this is not the case with Nikon. It produces a clear image with good contrast. Its only problem is a narrow angle of view, i.e., you have to look straight into the eyepiece. This is a minor issue. At roughly 1/4th the cost of the Nikon right angle finder, this is a real bargain.

3 Stars Ill-fitting adapter
This was the most reasonably-priced angle viewfinder on the market. After reading the reviews of it on Amazon I decided to buy it since I made a new year’s resolution to do more with macro photograhy this year. The viewfinder arrived quickly and was packaged in a nice leather (or pseudo-leather pouch). Because the viewfinder is “universal” it comes with several different adaptors for different makes and models of DSLRs. I have a Canon 50D, so I immediately selected that adapter and tried to attach the viewfinder to the camera. Unfortunately the adapter is a shade larger than the viewfinder on the camera that it attaches to. The end result is that the viewfinder is loose on the camera–to the point that it might even fall off if you don’t hold it firmly against the camera with your finger. I don’t know if this was an error in packaging of the adapter or not. I did not read anything about this in any of the other reviews, I can certainly still use the viewfinder, and it appears to function adequately, but it is going to be kind of a pain to have to hold it tight with my finger.

5 Stars Using Opteka’s Professional Right Angle Viewfinder
Who would have thought that an accessory like this could be so much fun. I bought this item for the purpose of getting into closeup photography at different angles.

I must have used this in the regular position, looking down like an old box camera, for who knows how many shoots.

I experimented with turning the viewer to be able to look around corners. Actually, the viewfinder can be turned to 4 different positions. A whole new world can be seen from almost all of these options.

4 Stars Nice performer for light duty
I purchased this device for occasional, light duty and it fills that requirement very well. The fit on my Nikon D80 and D90 is slightly lose but not so lose as to cause problems given my limited usage. It certainly makes ground level flower photography much easier and is very handy when I attach my camera to my astronomical telescope. If I were a professional photographer or used a right angle viewfinder for a majority of my work, the $230 Nikon viewfinder would make sense but for the more limited work I do with it, this $60 device fills the need and performs very well.

5 Stars opteka right angle viewfinder
This item does a good job for the purpose of it’s design

has quality optic’s and works well.Recommend item

Nikon ML L3 Wireless Remote Control for Nikon D40 D40x D60 D80 and D90 Digital SLR Cameras

Ultra slim wireless remote shutter trigger for Nikon SLR N65 , N75 , and Lite Touch compact models 110s, 130 ED / Pouch Included

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Works exactly as I expected
I bought this remote to use for long exposures with my D60. It has one button which does exactly what you’d expect — opens and/or closes the shutter. Two minutes after I opened the package I was taking my first test shots, and that was only because I had to find the right settings on my camera. As some other reviews have pointed out, the remote has to be in line of sight with your camera’s sensor in order to work, but that is no great inconvenience for my needs.

5 Stars Great remote
Hi I have been taking pics for about 5 months now with a nikon D60, and just bought this remote and the first one they send was not working, but i simply requested a new one and the next day had one in my house and was working good, return service was perfect no problem at all…happy with the remote, go and get it for fun pics…

5 Stars Love it!
I bought this because it is so hard to get babies to laugh when they can’t see you…they will just stare at the camera and that’s about it. With this remote I just frame the shot and then go play with my son…when he smiles or starts laughing I just click the remote and I have the shot. Try doing that with a point and shoot digicam!

5 Stars This thing is AWESOME!!!
I love this little remote. It has come in very handy while my hubby is deployed ;) I don’t like the fact that the camera doesn’t save the setting to use the remote, but that’s not this product’s fault lol. Very Happy with my purchase!

5 Stars Simple to use, does as it states
I use this with my D60 and within a few seconds I had things working great. Turned the camera to accept the remote and I was away. I have not had an issue yet with distance. I plan to use it more and more for the “family” pictures. Also looking at doing some stop motion. No longer I fall to the touching and slight shifting of the camera. The remote takes care of it.

3 Stars Get the fisheye / macro instead
I just received this lens a few days ago. The quality appears to be good and I can get some pretty good shots, but I also bought the Opteka .35x HD
